Sietch (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and other applicable privacy laws.
We collect the following categories of information:
Account Information
When you create a verified player account, we collect your full name, email address, phone number, and date of birth. Date of birth is required to maintain accurate player records. Gender is optional and collected only if you choose to provide it.
Sport Attributes
For basketball sessions, we may collect your playing position, height, and jersey number. This information is optional and used solely to personalize your experience and session rosters.
Booking Information
We record the sessions you register for, your attendance status, cancellation history, and any no show records associated with your account.
Store Activity
If you use an organization's Store, we record items you favorite and associate those favorites with your verified player account. Recently viewed item IDs are stored only in your browser on that device. Organizers may record item, size, quantity, price, and sale date for offline inventory and reporting, but Sietch does not collect payment card, bank, or e-wallet credentials for Store transactions.
Device and Usage Information
We collect your IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited within the Service for security and performance monitoring purposes.
Push Notification Tokens
If you enable push notifications, we store your device subscription token in order to deliver session reminders and booking updates.
Guest Information
If you participate as a guest player, we collect only your name as provided at registration. Guest data is not linked to an email address or persistent account.
We use your information to:
Operate and maintain your account and booking history.
Send booking confirmations, waitlist updates, session reminders, and cancellation notices via in-app notifications and email.
Display your profile, attendance record, and ranking on the leaderboard within the relevant sports organization.
Show your Store favorites and recently viewed items, and provide Organizers with inventory and aggregate Store performance reporting.
Allow Organizers to verify attendance and manage their sessions.
Improve the performance, security, and features of the Service.
Comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Organizers
The Organizer of a session you register for will have access to your name, contact information, booking details, and attendance status for the purpose of managing the session. Store dashboards show inventory, offline sales entered by the Organizer, and aggregate favorite counts. If you contact an Organizer through email or social media to reserve or buy an item, that communication takes place outside Sietch and is subject to the relevant service's privacy practices.
Service Providers
We use third party providers to operate the Service, including database hosting (Supabase), transactional email delivery (Resend), and hosting infrastructure (Vercel). These providers process your data on our behalf and are contractually bound to protect it.
Legal Authorities
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or government authority.
We do not share your personal information with any other third parties without your consent.
We retain your account information and booking records for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you request deletion of your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.
Store favorites are retained until you remove them or your account is deleted. Recently viewed history remains only in local browser storage until you clear it, clear site data, or older entries are replaced.
Guest player records are retained only for the duration of the session they are associated with and are not stored beyond the session completion.
We implement industry standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These include encrypted connections, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the right to:

Access a copy of your personal data held by us.
Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
Request erasure of your personal data, subject to applicable legal obligations.
Object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.

The Service uses essential browser cookies to maintain your login session and authentication state. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. No third party advertising networks have access to your browsing activity through our platform.
The Store uses local browser storage to remember recently viewed item IDs on your device. This history is not used for advertising, is kept separately for each sports organization, and can be removed with the Clear control in the Store or by clearing your browser's site data.
If you enable push notifications, your device subscription token is stored and used solely to deliver booking and session notifications. You may disable push notifications at any time through the notification settings within the app or through your device settings. Disabling notifications will not affect your access to the Service.
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us at support@sietch.com and we will take steps to delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the revised policy within the Service and updating the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
